Billy Ckarke to Miss Entire Season

Striker Billy Clarke is in danger of missing the whole league campaign due to a serious knee injury.

The 22 year old striker has been ruled out till April at the earliest after rupturing a cruciate ligament during pre-season.

Clarke was injured in a friendly match against Tiverton Town on July 16, initially it was thought that he would recover in 2 months however the problem was worse than thought and he had to undergo surgery.

Manager Ian Holloway said:

'It might be the whole season now. He was looking so sharp in training and had done so much in the summer to try and get over the knocks he had last year.

'We're all gutted for him, absolutely gutted for him.'
