Blackburn Rovers, West Ham and Wolves are locked in three-way battle to sign Manchester City striker Benjani.
Blackburn will look to raise funds for his purchase by offloading striker Jason Roberts.
West Ham boss Avram Grant and Wolves boss Mick McCarthy are also interested in signing the 31-year old Zimbabwian Benjani,
